Samsung has launched the Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro smartphones in India.

Mr. Sumit Walia, Director, Mobile Business, Samsung India said, “Samsung J series holds a leadership position in the mass-mid segment smartphone market and continues to witness a healthy demand from Indian customers.
Samsung has launched their two new smartphones Samsung J7 Pro and J7 Max in India on Wednesday 14 June. These will be mid-range budget smartphones and will be continuing the legacy of the ‘J series’ in 2017.

Specifications of Galaxy J7 Pro and J7 Max:

Galaxy J7 Max:

Samsung Galaxy J7 Max runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Display size 5.7  inch full HD. P20 octa core processor. 4GB RAM and 32 GB Internal memory. The storage is further expandable via a microSD card slot as well. 

Samsung Galaxy J7 comes with 13 MP camera rear and front sensors and flash supports on both end. When any notification comes there is also a smart glow mode on rear camera that gives you alerts. The battery in Galaxy J7 Max is 3,300mAh. The smartphone is only 8.1mm thick.

Galaxy J7 Pro:

It runs Android 7.0 Nougat. J7 pro display size 5.5 inch full HD with super AMOLED display. It is powered by 1.6 GHz  Exynos 7870 octa core processor. It comes with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB Internal memory which can be expandable upto 128GB with micro SD card. The battery in Galaxy J7 Pro is 3,600mAh.  The smartphone is only 7.9 mm thick. 

Social camera is a new feature that makes editing and sharing photos near instantaneous. You can pin your favorite contacts from Facebook, Messenger and WhatsApp so you can send them a snap in just a tap. Live stickers create Snapchat-like AR effects, you can add traditional stickers and color effects too.

Samsung Pay will be available on Galaxy J7 Pro while Galaxy J7 Max comes with Samsung Pay Mini. Samsung Pay users can turn their Samsung smartphone into a wallet, storing credit and debit cards. Through Samsung Pay, users can also use Paytm as well as the government’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and pay on the go by just tapping the phone on the Point of Sale. 

Samsung Pay Mini, designed to cater to the unique requirements of Indian mid-segment consumers, provides a comprehensive platform for UPI and e-wallets. Samsung Pay Mini will be launched first on Galaxy J7 Max and will be made available on select existing J series devices shortly.

Price of Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max:

Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro will be offer at a price of INR 17,900 and INR 20,900, respectively in Black and Gold colors. 

Availability of Two Launched Smartphones:

Galaxy J7 Max will be available across retail stores starting June 20, 2017 while Galaxy J7 Pro will hit the stores mid-July onwards.
